902 out in the gulf..lowest on record..I think it made first landfall at 908.

Central pressure was 918 at landfall. Andrew was 922 at landfall. Lowest Pressure in Katrina was 902 yesterday afternoon.

Official windspeed was 140 at landfall, andrew was "officially" 145 at landfall.

They upgraded Andrew to Cat 5 based on assessment that the "official" windspeed did not match the pressure or the damage caused by the storm.
