Some tourists were stuck down there. They couldn't get out in time. I remember Foxnews stating that several tourists came to them that couldn't speak English very well and asked them if they were there to shoot a movie. They had no idea a hurricane was on the way and it was only hours before Katrina hit.

You'd think when everyone was boarding up and heading out, that they'd have gotten suspicious about something.

But then again, I can be pretty hard-headed and peripherally blind at times too.
