Actually, I just did alot of camping in my youth and was homeless for awhile at age 15 until I could get a job at age 16 and afford a car to sleep in until I could get a place. But being the headstrong kid I was, I still went to school every day and graduated just to spite my mom. I learned how to "make do" in those days, but I was always clean and well-fed, even if it was a bag of day old doughnuts out of a dumpster. Hubby says I am a female version of McGyver when it comes to survival skills.

I certainly would have been more organized in my approach if I was in charge there, it doesn't sound like they had any security whatsoever and they should have had, even if I had to assign people to handle it (which would keep them busy and keep their minds off of their troubles). I definitely would have searched these people for guns and drugs on the way in...not arrested them, mind you, but I wouldn't have allowed any of that stuff in the Dome.
