"If you ask me, the FBI should be searching abandoned city offices for EVIDENCE, ASAP."

On a semi-related note, did you see that odd report on FNC yesterday about Al Gore arriving in LA? The reporter said she thought that Fox was the only network to catch him on tape, and when they asked him, he refused to comment.

Yep and it is only going to get worse. I don't know about you but the story about how totally underequppied and staffed the NO PD was just makes me ANGRYER. Thanks for the good news.

They want Bush to commit an impeachable unconstitutional act.

Correct. It's political theater aimed at goading Bush to give in to emotion and bypass the legal requirements because "people are dying...".

I would have to agree with his statement but I can save the country an additional several million dollars. He can resign along with Navin and Blanco.

With the exception of a minute from Haley Barbour in MS, the focus has been ALL NewOrleans. The disaster area is the friggn' size of Great Britian for Godsakes!

Imagine that snugs.

One, the single backhoe you cried shame over. Anyone with eyes could see that there was only room for one backhoe on that break in the levee.

THANK YOU. The EXACT thought that went thru my head but sounds so much better comning from you.

I just cannot take much more of this.

I just heard Wolf Blitzer ask Michael Chertoff "Are you humiliated?"

I can't decide who is more out of control, the "authorities" in LA or the press.

As you know, there is no way for W to get higher than 51% approval rating on anything; 49% voted for Kerry and they hate W.

All these Democrats are on damage control. We've said for years they are not fit for office and now it's being proven to be true.

It was quite chilling when the President said that yesterday I cannot imagine my whole country basically destroyed or out of commission but that is the size of the task in hand.

I can hear the hum of those shredders going now.

Wolf Blitzer has ALL the talking points today.

He's being VERY confrontational with Michael Chertoff.

They all make me sick.

Did you or anybody hear what Trent Lott had to say?

He wiped the floor with Anderson Cooper the other night and I wondered what he said today.

They have yet to verify that the levees were smashed by grain barges after everyone breathed a sigh of relief. I have heard several comments from Citizens living near where the 200 ft section of the levee was destroyed. They clearly stated that they saw a grain barge smash through to the other side. That is when all the major flooding began. Why in the Heck was the barge not way up river away from vulnerable infrastructure? This State has to replace the entire leadership. It failed every way it counted to save lives and homes.

I knew this was going to be a Sunday morning bash Bush-fest...but even I am surprised about how one sided it is..

I haven't heard one negative word about Nagin or especially the Governor of LA..

What if Jeb Bush had handled Florida last year, like she has LA????
