WASHINGTON - (KRT) - With many blaming the growing scope of Katrina's devastation on the Bush administration, Sen. Hillary Clinton called Sunday for a 9/11-style probe into how the federal government responded to the crisis. "It has become increasingly evident that our nation was not prepared," Clinton, D-N.Y., said in a letter to Bush asking him to set up a "Katrina Commission."

You know what? We should give them what they want, let the truth come out and have the Democrats be embarassed about the blame game played at the expense of the nation.

This puts the cherry on top of the Blanco-Nagin madness.

Hillary hoping to ride Katrina to the WH. She'd have been better off hitching a ride with Sean Penn.

I totally agree this time. Call a commission, let the truth come out.

With Bubba defending the President on national tv for his handling of the situation, my opinion is Hillary's just grandstanding for the looney left.

Gorelick = Blanco. Looks the same, talks the same, acts the same, lies the same.

Such a commission will be reminiscent of the 911 commission where the mayor will be praised, Blanco will be praised and Bush will get his brains bashed in.

There will be a new set of Jersey Girls, another big mouth like Richad Clarke, with perhaps even Blanco and the mayor on the commission (in analogy to Gorelick on the 911 commission).

If I were Hillary Clinton the LAST thing I would want is a nationally televised commission that will inevitably showcase how a female Democrat governor displayed abysmal stupidity, stubborness, ignorance and incompetence in dealing with a crisis.

Hillary expects this to be like the 911 commission- rigged to shift all blame to President Bush and exclude Democrat criminal negligence- but in the last few weeks, as the butt-covering, lies, and ommissions of the 911 commission have come to light and destroyed the credibilty of every person on that panel, if there is a "Katrina commission" it will be under a spotlight that Ms. Clinton might not like.

"Hillary Clinton calls for Katrina Commission"

Reminds me of a line from a Mel Brooks movie,

"Following the birth of the Arts, came the inevitable afterbirth of the Critic"

We just have to stick our nose in there dont we you stupid POS. In this case I am glad, because when the truth comes out the idiot Democrats in Louisianna, Blanko, Nagin , and Lambeau are going to look like something that just got stepped in.

I would change the parameter. The commission should review government (local, state and federal) response to the disaster. Someone should also look at how the media contributed to the ongoing mess.

Scene from the Ultimate Championship ...

We are now hearing referee John McCarthy as he gathers the fighters together in the center of the octagon ...

"Are you ready?" ... "Are you ready?"

"Let's get it on!"

The Left took two years to politicize 9/11 and two days to politicize Katrina.

Maybe they will politicize the next disaster before it happens.
