Newsreaders on FoxNews just said a 'Senior administration spokesman' has said Bush plans to nominate Roberts for Chief Justice position.

Agreed. He may have done things differently pre-Katrina- no way of knowing- but at this point this is a sensible decision. We are in the midst of crisis- while the left plays politics- we need to focus on solutions.

Maybe the left will be to busy with this news and lay off the blame Bush game. (Katrina) I doubt it, they are already saying the timing of this announcement is to cover up the terrible handling of Katrina on Bush's part
