"School is the last place to get a real education."

I see. Thank you for letting me know. Where is the first place one should go to get a real education? What, pray tell, has your "real education" done for your station in life?

The first place to get a real education is at home or in a public library. Second would be in a good private school or in a very well funded, suburban public school. Otherwise, I don't think very highly of public school education. If you want to argue with me about a real education, look at all the homeschoolers getting high marks. If you think the gubbermint will educate kids properly, think again esp. in the inner cities.

As to what my real education has done for my station in life, my husband is going to have a well educated wife and mother of his children. There's no rule that says you have to attend school in order to be a success.
