Jay-Z Backs Kanye's Bush Comments [President doesn't care about black people]
Billboard ^ | 9/7/05 | Billboard

Posted on 09/06/2005 10:30:39 PM PDT by freedom44

Rap mogul Jay-Z is standing behind Def Jam colleague Kanye West in the wake of the latter's comments during Friday's telethon to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina. As previously reported, West declared that "George Bush doesn't care about black people" and that America is set up "to help the poor, the black people, the less well-off as slow as possible."

"I'm backing Kanye 100%," Jay-Z tells Billboard by phone from London. "This is America. You should be able to say what you want to say. We have freedom of speech."

Jay-Z admits he shares some of West's views about the slow response to the disaster. "It's really numbing," he says. "You can't believe it's happening in America. You wonder, what's going on? Why were people so slow to react? I don't understand it."

Although Jay-Z says he hasn't "spoken to anyone about doing a concert event" to benefit Katrina victims, he says he wants to speak with Sean "Diddy" Combs about starting a fund exclusively to aid African-Americans in times of crisis. "Just in case anything like this happens in the future, we can do what the elder Bush and [former President Bill] Clinton are doing for our people specifically."

Does this also mean he wants the honky to sit the next one out to showcase how it can be done right?

I don't know, Ursus arctos horribilis...but I'm suddenly feeling disenfranchised. Think I'll go have a snack or play with the dog for a while.

But seriously, somebody needs to "pick a vowel and get a life."

This guy wears Che-shirts at his concerts. I think it was captured in a video. Screw him.

Here's Usher's $1,000,000 watch. With his own face on it. LOL.

Maybe he could donate that watch to the Hurricane Katrina Victims Fund. It'll help in rescue, recovery, and rebuilding and maybe save us from another tiresome celebrity gala.

Yeah that's the ticket; start a fund for black people only. Then during the next disaster you can tell all the white people to just die, the money's not for you.

Don't you feel the hip hop love in this crowd?

Yeah. I looked it up, and he wore the shirt at his MTV Unplugged concert. Unplugged rapper, geez. Anyway, the shirt is visible on the cover of the accompanying CD, but you can't really make out Che too well. Funny thing is, I did a search, and a little punk commie was furious that he wears the shirt and calls himself "Jay Guevara." He's mainly mad because he referred to himself as "Che Guevara with bling." You can imagine how that got his little commie anti-materialist beeber stuned.

Hi All-

Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter was featured in an article (and on the cover) of the October 2005 edition of WatchTime magazine. I shook my head ruefully as I read how the great company Audemars Piguet created three versions of the Royal Oak Offshore Jay-Z 10th Anniversary Limited Edition watches:

The article goes on to say how the tasteful diamond-crusted "10" symbolizes the ten years that Jay-Z allegedly spent recording music from 1995-2005. The one-page article with photograph made me want to barf.

Each of these watches apparently comes delivered with an Apple iPod that has been preloaded with all of his so-called music. Why would this great and fabled Swiss watch company cheapen their image by becoming associated with this silly knucklehead?

"Just in case anything like this happens in the future, we can do what the elder Bush and [former President Bill] Clinton are doing for our people specifically."

If they actually create a blacks-only fund, we desperately need someone to start a fund for ONLY WHITE PEOPLE. It looks like a lot of WHITE PEOPLE actually followed the evacuation orders and left town. It looks like a lot of BLACK PEOPLE, including the mayor with his 400 parked city buses, stayed behind and expected the feds to rush in 5 seconds after the storm and save their asses.

Because of Kanye West's "people," this natural disaster quickly turned into a mess of starvation, stealing, murder, rape and mayhem. Racist pigs like Jay-Z and West can go bitch to the choir on BET. The rest of America isn't gonna buy the crap they're selling.

JAY-Z DOESN'T CARE ABOUT WHITE PEOPLE!

And for one of these thugs to be a real rapper they must knock up some ho's, and have some kids out of wedlock that they don't claim.... they don't care about them either.

I guess if you are half black, you get half the money of the others. A Caucasian who came from South Africa is an African-American. Does he get some money?
