Blanco was blubbering on TV before the levees even broke. Suck it up lady. I'm sick and tired of female leaders getting the "OK" from people for publicly crying, especially on live television. Crying is unacceptable if you are the governor of a state. People look to their leaders in times of crisis and to have the poor people of Louisiana seeing their leader blubbering on national TV must have made them feel really great about their future. No wonder some people think women shouldn't hold higher office--this was the worst possible example of a woman taking charge and remaining publicly stoic.

If there's anything worse than a hysterical woman it's a hysterical man, like that Aaron Broussard on "Meet the Press". I wanted to punch him in the face so bad...
