I've heard defenders saying he stayed in NO at the Hyatt, ruffing it without any frills after the power etc went out.Others with no axe to grind and no reason to lie, say he fled to Baton Rouge.

The more his character or lack thereof is revealed, the more I believe he was in Baton Rouge.

On Fox & Friends this morning, Brian Kilmeade was describing some very recent looting that occurred at the Hyatt. As reported by Hyatt officials, looters entered the hotel, overlooked stockpiles of water and food, took all the liquor in the place, and attempted to steal televisions. They then went to each bathroom on the first six floors and "wiped stuff" all over the walls.

When I heard the report, I felt that this may have been channeling of anger by some NO citizens towards Nagin. It seems that long after Nagin left the Hyatt there apparently were still supplies of food, water, and liquor. Granted being without power and running water is not comfortable, but it doesn't really sound like he was roughin' it too bad.
