That is one of the good things about TX getting so many refugees, imo. We visited NOLA often just to listen to the music.

And think of all the fantastic REAL Cajun restaurants that will be popping up.

If Texas doesn't go bankrupt, it won't all be bad. I do wonder if housing prices are going to skyrocket. Housing for that many people is going to be tough, I'd think.

The Neville family, ancient bone structure of NO music scene, is here now. They've always hung out, just now they'll 'be here for a while'.

And think of all the fantastic REAL Cajun restaurants that will be popping up.

There is already a plan per Papa Neville for Nawlins natives to gather weekly here to maul red beans 'n rice and all else that is Holy Cajun. As well there should be. And from that we should expect 'refugee' cuisine, as honest here as it was there, to open new restaurants.

Houston has a housing glut: result of recent over-building. Texas can handle all this. Perry has already extracted commitments from Medicaid to cover concomitant health costs. It's really a good thing, all around.
