You don't have to be a homeschooler.

Perhaps you misunderstand me. I consider homeschooling to be one of the most blessed things I have ever done, and feel strongly led of God to do so. We are in our 4th year and I wouldn't change a thing. A little paranoid apprehension over the far reaches of CPS doesn't even compare to the peace I have about my kids not being subject to public schools.

I understood you! I was just pointing out that public school is a high risk area for "government intervention". The home schoolers are also demonized repeatedly.

The fact of the matter is that it is a national disgrace that you are not entitled to a jury trial with your defense provided when your children are seized. It is also a national disgrace that some CPS funding is dependent on them taking and placing children.
