>> To the tune of "A Dove on Distant Oaks." <<

What? It's a REMAKE?

Not funny? How's this?:

Uh... could you hum a few bars?

Still no, huh?

It's only funny because it's true!

"To the tune of "A Dove on Distant Oaks."

Actually, that's directly from the Bible, at least my NIV Bible. It's David's direction to "the director of music". "Psalms" means "songs". The book of Psalms is roughly equivalent to our modern day hymnals. Apparently, they even had tunes back then.

Of course we're still praying for Pres. G.W. Bush -- No President in the history of this country has had this much on his plate. Add, the ridiculous sniping and back stabbing from the democrats and MSM during a war.

You're right, other Presidents have had wars but they mostly had the support of the people until Vietnam and people like Kerry and Fonda .

I've never seen such a 'mean spirited' time before. Freedom of speech has lost its morals and sense of decency.

I believe strongly in First Amendment Rights, however, the left has pushed it over the line, into a seditious area. The continuous shrill from the democrats and anti war left, is sweet music to our enemies. Liken to bin Laden himself, operating behind enemy lines!

Bubba said, "I feel your pain." Bush says, "I want to take your pain."

Oh yes, any country that hates us gets great glee from watching the vitriol coming out of the liberals.

Heading for bed, see you tomorrow!

Yes, I know. That's exactly meant to be the source of my humor: 3,000 years old, and it's STILL a remake! It's kinda funny to me to think of a psalm being written to the melody of another song, lost to history.

(Except Dick Clark... He's THAT old.)

Thank you Phil. I think you know the telephone is not my friend with my bad hearing but I am going to use that email address right now!
