So now we have these idiot Democrat Coingresscritters asking for an independent commission to investigate. The investigation couldnt take more than 15 minutes in Free Republics archives to find the cause of all the screw ups.

In their search for a monster (Bush), they have become monsters themselves.

When your one goal in life is revenge against another .. it will come back to bite you.

This is exactly what I thought happened.

The dems blew it .. and decided to blame it all on Bush.

However, if Bush had gone ahead and usurped her authority - the dems would be hollering even louder.

And .. we have to remember .. the dems operate under the premise that the repubs are evil and have only evil intentions. It's the same ole same ole .. projection technique.

So when does the Louisiana Attorney General plan to file criminal charges against Blanco and Nagin as he was so quick to do against the owners of the nursing home. Charges would be the same, but the victems of Blanco and Nagin are more than ten times as many.

Poor comparison. Edith Bunker was an inept and long suffering angel with a heart of pure gold. On the other hand Blanco..........

Will Blanko Blanco be sued like the owners of the nursing home are being sued?

MR. RUSSERT: Many people point, Mr. Mayor, that on Friday before the hurricane, President Bush declared an impending disaster. And The Houston Chronicle wrote it this way. "[Mayor Nagin's] mandatory evacuation order was issued 20 hours before the storm struck the Louisiana coast, less than half the time researchers determined would be needed to get everyone out. City officials had 550 municipal buses and hundreds of additional school buses at their disposal but made no plans to use them to get people out of New Orleans before the storm, said Chester Wilmot, a civil engineering professor at Louisiana State University and an expert in transportation planning, who helped the city put together its evacuation plan." And we've all see this photograph of these submerged school buses. Why did you not declare, order, a mandatory evacuation on Friday, when the president declared an emergency, and have utilized those buses to get people out?

MAYOR NAGIN: You know, Tim, that's one of the things that will be debated. There has never been a catastrophe in the history of New Orleans like this. There has never been any Category 5 storm of this magnitude that has hit New Orleans directly. We did the things that we thought were best based upon the information that we had. Sure, here was lots of buses out there. But guess what? You can't find drivers that would stay behind with a Category 5 hurricane, you know, pending down on New Orleans. We barely got enough drivers to move people on Sunday, or Saturday and Sunday, to move them to the Superdome. We barely had enough drivers for that. So sure, we had the assets, but the drivers just weren't available. Transcript for September 11 Ray Nagin, Arlen Specter, John Barry & Ivor van Heerden

Note that the Governor had written a letter to President Bush on 8/27/05, and another on 8/28/05. Both requested financial aid. In addition, the 8/28/05 letter asked for help with debris removal. That is it.

I believe the Governor and Mayor's inactions were a deliberate act to embarrish and politically damage President Bush.

I fault the head of FEMA for refusing to realize the depths the Leaders of the Deomcrat Party will go to destroy President Bush. No lie is too big to tell, no act is too obscene, and no loss of life[unless it is theirs] is too great if it will hurt President Bush.

He should have made his key personnel aware of the fact that the Democrats were going to sabatoge them at every opportunity so that they could plan and act accordingly.

AS it stands today, the Democrat Political Party is the most evil organization known to man.

They are obsessed with destroying President Bush by any means and any cost necessary.

They are a much greater threat to the United States than any muslims.

It was not always this way. At one time there were patroitic Democrats who believed in the ideas that this Nation was founded upon.

This is not the case at this point in time.

No, I don't think it's a chip, I think it's her tiny brain, it is so small that when it falls out it is hard to find, she probably hadn't noticed it missing when the picture was taken.

She should. She failed to follow the plan, people died. St. Ritas failed to follow the plan, people died. What is the difference?
