I keep hearing ridiculous comments about the "intentional blow up of a levee to protect the rich, white neighborhoods." Will someone here please enlighten me as to how something like THAT is supposed to work!
Jesse Jackass made that SAME CLAIM back in 1994 during the floods in Ga. He went to Albany Ga. (the only place he was welcomed), and went on a racist tirade claiming they suffered flooding due to intentional actions further up the river to protect the white property owners. Of course, he could provide no specific details or PROOF!

out of place by thousands of gallons of water crashing dow from dozens of feet above street level, into a bunch

You gotta be kidding - I listened to this guy from about the time Mayor Washington's death to about 2002 and you wouldn't believe the crazy stuff some of the callers come up with. One of the first things I heard on his show, for example, was that Washington was poisoned by his Jewish press secretary Alton Miller.
