True, but if men aren't knocking on your door, a woman has to change her tactics. I knew two guys in high school who were cute as hell, but I just remained friends with them because I thought that's all they wanted. Come to find out....years later, that they both had wished they would have persued me and courted me.

Guys are expected to persue and court. What we really like, though, is an unambiguous "green light" that communicates "I like what I see in you -- if you ask me nicely, I WILL say yes (and not sue you for harassment!)".

Very good. I feel like one of the few women who has actually seen the light in this area. Most women have less of a clue about men than men have about women.

There are few qualities that are more uninspiring than a lack of humility. I sense that there is this lack in the lady who authored the letter. As such, she might be beautiful like a statue, but lack the warmth to be beautiful like a real woman.

Anybody who could write something that beautiful and profound should be able to get a lady! Surely there are women in England other than the type you went out with who wanted the fancy watch. Maybe try online dating to weed out the wrong types?
