“True Christian” troll zotted to kingdom come. No apologies forthcoming.
Bishop Nigel Zotworthy

Posted on 09/19/2005 4:03:51 AM PDT by ForkedTongueFreepers

True Christians would not lie to cover up for their criminal negligence and failures leading up to the attacks of the 11th September 2001, which killed thousands of innocents.

True Christians would not ignore other countries human rights abuses, in order to get their support for a so called "war on terror".

True Christians would not lie, and decieve their people into believing that another nation posed a "clear and present danger" in order to initiate an attack on another nation which would kill innocent people.

True Christians would not ignore torture and abuse, and would not attempt to make excuses for the scumbags who carry out that torture and abuse, and those who ordered people to torture and abuse captives.

True Christians would not argue about legal niceties, or their role in helping their own countrymen, women and children following a natural disaster. They would offer their help unconditionally.

True Christians would not deny help for those in need.

True Christians would speak out against those who speak with a forked tongue. When those who claim to be Christians don't act in a Christian manner, then Christian leaders must speak out. Church of England Bishops have called on Christian leaders to speak out and publicly apologise for the Iraq war. It's long past time for true Christians to speak up.

Of four Divinely established institutions, national governance was attacked in thought, decision and behavior by Saddam Hussein. That institution is designed for believer and unbeliever alike to live within proper authority. The US defense of that basic institution is now returning the same institution of government, as well as family, marriage, and individual dominion to all Iraqis via their own dominion.

Those radical terrorists were also attracted to that local upon our seizure of that land. This also meets US strategic defense of global interests including the defense of its population from unwarranted criminal behavior.

Until the Anglican community denounces socialism and supports the divine insitution of national governance of other peoples, they still have a great deal of sanctification to work out.

But to be fair, if Saddam had gotten the sanctions lifted and had then nuked Tel Aviv and invaded Saudi Arabia and taken over the oil fields (or set them on fire), perhaps the Anglican Church would have demanded an apology from British and Americans for not stopping Saddam.

So they are evenhanded, in a sense.

And just WHO is going to decide if I'm a true Christian?

I am a true Christian, and I don't apologise for the Iraq war, or the WOT. The Bible does not oppose self defense at all.

Bishops of the Church of England are calling for Christian leaders in Britain to publicly apologize for the war in Iraq and its aftermath.

Anglican members call for their Bishops to stay out of politics or risk losing many more members.

Who died and gave these clowns the right to judge who is a "true Christian"?

Maybe if it had more than one member it would get proper respect ...

As the representative of the Southern Church of Bob, I think we need to talk...

Your post makes me ashamed to be raised Episcopalian.

I had occasion to travel back to my home town this summer (my mom passed away), and attend a Sunday morning service at the Episcopal church I grew up in. The service had 10 people in attendance. When I was a boy Sunday service in the summer typically had around 100. Two men introduced themselves thus: "My name is < blank>, and this is my partner < blank>".

I left the service muttering to myself, "dead, dead as a doornail".

True, mature Christians arm themselves with truth and fact before they fly off the handle.

A true Christian is a follower of Christ and wants his word spread far and wide. Does this mean you are a true Christian and will join in the fight to keep the Ten Commandments in PUBLIC view?

"As the representative of the Southern Church of Bob, I think we need to talk..."

Lemme see if we're talking about the same thing ... "The only thing I do religiously is sleep late on Sundays."

... (and) ... My Sunday School lesson was about the "One Commandment: Harm no one."

... is that the one?

Apologize for what? Freeing 25 million people? Capturing Saddam and killing his sons, thus ridding the world of some of the most despicable tyrants? Fighting terrorists who are trying to overrun a now free nation?

No, I don't think anyone should apologize for that. Instead, true Christians should be rejoicing that there are still some who believe in fighting evil.

"According to the 9/11 commission, both Clinton and Bush missed opportunities to get Bin Loser. Hopefully, we'll get him soon."

I think Clinton's was on purpose, for the simple goal of attaining the Nobel Peace Prize.

If President Bush missed him, it wasn't because he wanted to. It would've been a logistical error, or something like that.
