It's better to be Bush at low tide than Buchanan at high tide, any day of the week.

As Rush mentioned today .. Rasmussen has continued to show Bush at 48%. Of course, the MSM will not report that because it doesn't fit their get-Bush agenda.

Pat Buchanan is perfect at MSNBC, a biased network with low ratings and minimal influence.

LOL MSM won't show it unless its 39 percent or below. Then they gleefully report it.

"Bush at low tide"

It could just be that T. Kennedy and M. Moore got out of the ocean.

Pat writes [for those who smear without reading]

" Media and Democrats who continue to snipe will soon appear to be what many are: inveterate Bush-baiters and Bush-bashers."

"But those, like my friend E. J. Dionne, who wrote, “The Bush era is over,” are expressing hopes, not describing reality. Bush holds the most powerful office on earth -- and will for the next three years and four months. He draws up a federal budget of $2.4 trillion, can veto bills, appoint Supreme Court Justices, attend summits, negotiate treaties, go on national TV virtually at will, and pull out or send in troops to Iraq."

Pat is right again. Bush is still the most powerfull man in the world. Down but far from out.

President Bush did accept responsibility but Pat is a typical nut that didn't get the full message. It was the legal first responders that failed for the first few days, and after the Levy broke, totally let it go to hell. That responsibility was the Mayor and Governor. That is where the real problem was. I fault President Bush for not assuming a small part of the responsibility and laying the major part on MO and Governor.

I used to like Pat. Before the insanity set in.

Pat forgot that it is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought an idiot than to open it and remove all doubt.

This piece however is not AS bad as other recent pieces have been.
