The dirty little secret about the number is that if your poll number is below 45, you are considered a loser - which is what the dems have to believe in order to continue their assault against Bush. The MSM is just trying to help out the blame-Bush'ers.
If people remember correctly, Bush's poll numbers were also below 45 for several months before the 2004 election. The dems were deluding themselves .. as usual. When Bush won by over 4 MILLION VOTES .. the poll numbers were shown to be what they were - A LIE. Just like they are now.
