This seems to be setting a very dangerous precedent, by preventing the public from having input or recourse until after the fact. Even with a petition later, what guarantees are there that the zoning decision would change?

It seems like many rights and constitution guarantees that we thought were inalienable, aren't.
It's beginning to look like our constitutional guarantees are simply at this or that politician's discretion.
