To: Knitting A Conundrum

I worried about Kemah although I haven't been there in years. My family owned a house right by the water, and it was blown away by Carla. Now the same place is a fancy entertainment area (we should have kept that property a few more years!), so I suspect what would have happened if the storm had hit.

Yep. I don't think I would stay too near the water for any cat 3 storm...especially one that had been a five two days before.

If I had been my brother, who lives past 1960 off of Tomball Road, I'd have stayed, probably - unless I was in one of those places that flooded back in the 90s.
