You sound like my son, also a FReeper. I'm an accomplished, educated woman who tried to raise my son to appreciate women in expanded roles in society (some latent feminism left over from the 70s, probably).
But every now and then he comes out w/some crap like, "Women shouldn't be allowed to vote. They are just effing up the country."

I keep telling my wife that we should modify the 19th amendment. Republican women can keep on voting, but if they're an Oprah worshipping shoe monkey, they're out.
Your son is a bright young lad. I commend his mother on raising such a bright and perceptive American. The article speaks for itself and supports my and your son's opinions. In all honesty, I would not repeal the 19th. Amendment, but some adjustments to candidate and voter qualification need to be made. Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco, notwithstanding......................;^)

Reading the bio on Schussel, an accomplished woman, and then reading the comments on the Proahfied women-in-the-street, and how hysterical and wachked out women's special interest groups have gotten ... I know the problem.
