I believe you can add the DC area to the list of odd odors, and around the time Hurricane Rita hit, a few Freepers in the Dallas area were commenting on a strange odor in the area. (This was on the long Hurricane Rita thread.) The Freepers were speculating that the winds were somehow bringing foul odors up from New Orleans, but I really doubt that.
(I live in the DFW area and actually went outside myself to check it out when the Freepers were talking about this, but could not detect any strange odors.)
Several things are floating around in my head too, that there was a terrorist connection to the 95 OKC bombing, that I believe, no doubts, too many connections, also the connection to Russia and communists.
I will always say that the drawing of the unknown is the Padilla guy that is in jail.
Remember last month when we were playing with the messages and had them traveling, from the Mexican border all the way to New Orleans from the looks of it and a definate connection to a Arkansas University.
I think the post #79 of this thread has bearing on Oklahoma, I did not know of the Oklahoma bomb, as I was in bed all day and had just come on the computer.
After the fact it is clear or part of it is.
2 2 4 4 could be the second quarter of the 4 quarters of a football game. The 4 comes from april april......april also serving as a word for bomb, if you think of the april 19th, 1995 OKC bombing.....(note all the 19's in the date)...
I still think that the personal doctor in the post, is a warning, and if we take the bomb to where it exploded - in front of the lab building, then you will need a personal doctor to treat what you were exposed to, if in the area, we have 2 men (arab) running away, so they will need the doctor.
If it had blown up the building and dropped the germs on the people watching the game, then you would get even more sick people in the long run, as if it was a spreading disease, then the rest of the state would have been exposed.
Plus there was stuff there for a second bomb.
Plus, the fear of 84,000 people all attempting to leave, would have caused many deaths.
There was a report that the people int he stadium could not get calls on their cell phones, I suspect the cell phone service was shut down, to stop setting off other bombs in the area.
Now to night, there are more bombs planted/found.
The boy that died, was not just playing with bombs, he was running a factory.
The only signal, has been given, it is a cat and mouse game,or in my world, a cat and snake game.....
A cat will keep swiping at a snake, until the snake tires, I have seen it, then go for the kill.
We had a black cat that Had a set of stripes, that formed a cross.....
Bill was attempting to get the car fixed, in the dark, with a flashlite, out away from the house.
I was cleaning up after dinner, I kept hearing a buzz, thought Bill was drilling something.
15 or 20 minutes later, I went out with the scraps and there was the cross kitty, she had a big Coontail rattler, cornered on a flat sheet of tin, that was the reason for the
sounds........
Bill would have stepped on it and I could have also done so, but the kitty with a Cross kept it busy and in the open, not in all the junk of the patio, tools, waterjugs, etc.
Yep, I am rambling, think I would be afraid to attempt to seperate all my thoughts onto pages of paper and put them in order..........

I am back to KOA Denver, he said another road is closed, bad accident with people ejected from the vehicle.
Every truck that is wrecked, makes our costs higher.

Toilet Paper, the shipping costs will push the price way up there, they will want to haul a heavier load, and at least make back the money spent on fuel. The price is going way up, $4 or $5.00 a roll.......

Reminds me of the trucker talking on KDWN yesterday and I have heard him say it before, that the trucking company is hiring drivers (muslim types) who are not correctly trained to drive a truck.

I do not believe that all these gas trucks are loosing control, Bill drove the Mobil gas truck -local and short hops to deliver, and a friend Bernie also drove the big one.
I can promise you, that neither of them ran around loosing control.
Maybe in the late 1970's there was a gas shortage and if Bill had to take a run to one of the small towns, nearby, it got so bad that his boss rode with him, with a shot gun.
Several times people tried to run him off the road, or force him to stop, then it would have been a stolen gas truck.
They tried running him off the road and stopping him with cars, they didn't know that Bill was one of those tunnel vision people, if his job was to deliver a load of gas, that is what he did......
Once they tried blocking the roadway with a couple cars, he slowly kept driving, pushed them out of the way and never stopped. His truck was a old one, made out of iron and didn't dent........LOL
In those days there the cell phones had not been invented, but they did finally put a CB in the trucks.
Some one is forcing these trucks to have accidents.
The normal cargo carrier runs longer hours and for longer periods of time, I can understand them going to sleep, or taking too many pills to stay awake.

He was “Joe” to those who knew him well. To the OU community, however, Joel Hinrichs III was the mechanical engineering junior responsible for Saturday’s suicidal blast.
In the aftermath of Hinrichs’ suicide, his family is left to reconcile the person they knew with someone who would take such drastic measures. As they searched through dozens of boxes of technological gear at their home in Colorado Springs, Colo., Hinrichs’ family struggled with the looming question of “Why?”.
Hinrichs’ father, Joel Hinrichs Jr., described his son, the youngest of five children, as a “very private individual.”
He said his son was lonely and had gone through several bouts of depression, one of which forced him to take a year off of school.
“He was going to counseling at Goddard. They did their best to help him,” Hinrichs’ father said.
Hinrichs’ passion for technology surfaced at a young age, a fascination he maintained throughout his life.
“At seven years old, he asked me how to turn ore into metal. We had a 45-minute conversation about it,” Hinrichs’ father said.
Technological concepts came easily to Hinrichs. The skills necessary for making friendships, however, did not.
“He was bright, but for whatever reason the process of making friends just didn’t come to him easily,” Hinrichs’ father said.
He said his son’s attempts at friendships failed during school, to the point that he stopped trying.
Hinrichs’ time was consumed with technological tinkering.
Hinrichs’ family knew he collected electronics, but did not anticipate he would develop a ��bomb to take his life. They, like OU’s student body, are forced to speculate as to Hinrichs’ motives.
“I believe he went for a large open space where he wouldn’t harm anyone but himself. He was aware of the fact that he was going to make an indelible impression on 85,000 football fans,” Hinrichs’ father said.
Hinrichs suggests his son wanted the community to notice his passing.
“He might have said, ‘That’s you, this is me, good-bye.’ But I’m just speculating,” Hinrichs said, “He’s not here to say if I’m right or not.”
Hinrichs’ father attributes his son’s death to a lack of optimism.
“My message to parents everywhere is to check their child’s optimism, because that is what led to this,” Hinrichs’ father said, “Joe’s optimism ran dry, and it caused him to end his life.”
His main regret is that his son did not approach him with his problems.
“When you’re feeling that lonely, just go to your parents. They care. They have the most invested in your life,” Hinrichs’ father said.
Very few people knew Hinrichs on a personal basis.
Hinrichs’ neighbors at Parkview Apartments confirmed his quiet nature.
“He’s very calm and quiet. Kind of, I can’t say lonely, but he prefers to stay alone. He’s not the kind of social person,” said Sam Dandashly, political science sophomore, who lived near Hinrichs’ apartment.
Dandashly said he was shocked to find out that Hinrichs was the person behind the bombing. Another neighbor, Jumao Wang, shared that sentiment.
“We saw him several times, but we never talked to him,” Wang said.
Wang said they were evacuated on Sunday at 5 a.m. while officials confirmed the building’s safety and returned to their apartments on Monday at 12 p.m.
Hinrichs’ roommate, whom Hinrichs’ father said he barely spoke with, also moved back into the apartment at this time.
Andrew House, industrial engineering junior, said he knew Hinrichs as a classmate.
“He seemed like he was a nice kid. He didn’t seem troubled at all. Some people might have thought he was weird, because he knew a lot about ammunition and stuff like that,” House said.
Hinrichs, a National Merit Scholar, was also a member of Triangle fraternity, an organization of engineers, architects, and scientists. In a statement on their Web site, Triangle fraternity expressed their condolences about the incident.
“This is a terrible tragedy, and we are extremely thankful that no one else was hurt in the explosion. We have no idea what happened and are as stunned as anyone else on campus,” Triangle fraternity said in the statement.
Paul Lawson, from Triangle fraternity’s national headquarters, said they were unaware that Hinrichs liked to keep to himself, as he did not live in the house.
“He had not made contact with anyone from Triangle within the last three to four days,” Lawson said.
Triangle fraternity connected Hinrichs to students in similar fields, but Hinrichs’ father said he still struggled with the hardships of being an engineering major.
“He was very disillusioned with his major, and I suggested that he change it,” Hinrichs said, “but he said ‘Dad, I’m in the very best one right now, and I still hate it.’”
Hinrichs’ interest in technology conflicted with his hatred for math, making engineering a difficult field.
Hinrichs’ father said his son never expressed any specific dreams or goals.
“He was very lonely,” he said. “I should have known, but I just didn’t see this coming.”
The impact of Hinrichs’ death extends far beyond his family and into the entire OU and Norman community. The 85,000 people in attendance at Saturday’s game felt the jarring effects of Hinrichs’ suicide as well.
“I’m sure he didn’t intend for his passing to alter the flow of life everywhere,” Hinrichs’s father said, “but it certainly did.”

I also think that the companies who are hiring "undocumented workers"....ILLEGALS to you and I...are placing the general public in peril. I can't tell you how many times I will see a tanker with "hazardous placards" barreling down and interstate well above the posted speed limit...only to look over and see a driver who looks like they can barely understand English!

Granny, I haven't sailed there, but I've driven the bridge. It's a wonderful drive, but one is also starkly aware of the desolation that only the bridge can alleviate. If I were going to block a road, though, that's not the first one I would have picked, because even though it's the only one from point A to point B, there are places that, if cut off, make a much bigger impression.
But then again, I'm not a whacked-out jihadi. Thank God.

Good luck with the kitty. I used to have a Norwegian Forest Cat, but it was more like an uncomfortable truce between us. Every once in a while we'd get along, but most of time I was well aware that he was letting me live there out of some strange sense of charity.
