BOMB SQUAD INVESTIGATING SUSPICIOUS DEVICE AT TCC METRO CAMPUS

Tulsa - NewsChannel 8 has confirmed that the Tulsa bomb squad has responded to the Tulsa Community College Metro Campus south parking lot to check out a suspicious device.

The lot, located near 12th and Boston, has been secured. There is no word on if the campus has been evacuated.

We're told the suspicious device is inside a vehicle in the parking lot.

We have a crew on the way and will bring you more as details become available.

With granny mentioning the OK Murrah Federal Building bombing...it made me think that if (and IMHO it was) done in conjunction with Islamic terrorists.

We had the first WTC bombing in 1993...the Murrah bombing was April 19, 2005 at 9:02 a.m.....similar to the timing of the 9/11 attack on the WTC's. Just wondering if the new OK situations popping up are a "signal". And if part of the link for the enemy within has a genesis in the OK area. Just links that I am pulling from our recent past, to try to make sense of the current incidents.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Tulsa - A bomb scare shut down part of downtown Tulsa for hours Monday evening. More than two city blocks were completely taped off by Tulsa police. They were focused on a parking lot of the Tulsa Community College Metro Campus at 12th and Boston for several hours.

NewsChannel 8 has learned the bomb was not real. But, police are taking the threat very seriously and are actively searching for the suspect."


ARTICLE SNIPPET #2: "At the conclusion of three hours, police say the device turned out to be a hoax. There were no explosive materials. But, the clock is now ticking for the person responsible for the hoax.

The suspect could face two state complaints for a hoax device. Police say he is a 45-year-old white male, last seen driving a green Dodge 4x4 pickup with California license plates."
