SALEM -
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Irene L. Schock, 81, died Saturday at Sioux Valley Hospital. She and three others from one of the buildings at Salem Apartments, 430 E. Beebe Ave., were taken to the hospital Friday as authorities evacuated the complex."
ARTICLE SNIPPET #2: "Van Den Hemel said the substance is a solid that apparently had a chemical reaction that created a gas. He declined to speculate what the substance is.
The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation is helping investigate."
