Rush is hedging. He wants to come out swinging, but . . .

I wonder how Rush would be responding to this pick if she has been nominated by a (hypothetical) conservative Democrat.

Rush: Makes Bush look like he is nominating "from a position of weakness."

Rush is right. This is a nomination from a point of weakness. Looks like the WH is worried about W's poll numbers.

She may turn out to be great but since she is such a blank slate and some of the Dems like her, it is clear that Bush wanted to avoid controversy. Not the tactic I would have preferred. Sigh.

Watch the PROPAGANDA MEDIA spin this as "even Rush Limbaugh did not know what to make of..."

Tactical Mistake comes to mind.
