Lee Atwater died the day after my daughter was born, but I didn't hear the news until I'd filled out the papers for a different name. "Lee" isn't that unusual for a girl.
I don't think anyone should have to be named Condoleezza, sorry. I know it's her name and she can't help it, but ...
I loved Lee Atwater. Almost cried when he died. I think the elder President Bush just might have won again if Lee had lived.
Perhaps my sister should consider "Ann Coulter (Last Name)" if she has a daughter. ;>
I was surprised Brittany Spears (like anyone should care anyway) named her child Preston Michael. How unusual for a celeb to give a baby a normal name.

Frankly, there are two trends (not necessarily recent ones) in naming kids that drive me nuts. The one is the naming of girls using what are traditionally boy's names. The other is using what are traditional last names for girl's first names. So I hope I don't offend a female 'McKenzie' or 'Morgan' or 'Madison' or 'Casey' or 'Lindsey' or 'Ashton' or 'Reagan' (might make an exception here) ......
