Im thinking the OU bomber, then the tip 2 days ago convinced the administration that they'd better go ahead with the H Katrina pre-empted 911 speech today.
It's better to get on record the determination to defeat these a**holes before they hit us again. And it's only a matter of time before they hit us again. OU was awfully close...

I take "credible threat and threat specific" to mean that they have a pretty good idea WHO ALL to look for, but NYC is so dang HUGE.
