I thought the most elaborate and precise data ever obtained by Chinese or foreign scientists was the warhead technology sold by the Clintons. They used the traitorous Clintoon data to send a missile up the slopes to measure the height of Everest.

Mount Everest, is 12 feet shorter than previously thought Well, then, here I come! Now where's my rope?
I've got it and am making a noose out of it. I can't take this horrific news.
Do you realize what this could do to the population of kangaroo's in the outback? ; )

"a congressional panel better be put together!"
Good idea. Appoint a fact finding commission. Put all the more objectionable types on it (hillary, kennedy, frank, rangel,- you get the drift) - and send them up there to climb and to investigate. With any luck at least some of them will perish on ascent and the rest will freeze to death on the mountain. Imagine the last survivors actually cannibalizing kennedy both for food and for fuel...

Oh. Is that all? Really!
Could you just imagine the ruckus if it would have gone "up" 12 feet? ; )

In related news, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-Soc, NY) has denounced as a "vicious right-wing smear" the report that she was named in honor of Sir Edmund Hillary.

We never really joined the 5.4979166 Mile High Club. LoL!
Perhaps the ACLU could actively promote a refund on dues paid!

Don't despair. Even as we speak, 50 mountaineering outfits are being ordered and these brave girls should have the mountain back up another 15 to 20 feet in no time.
To: wagglebee
The measurement will have to be made again following the Pakistan earthquake.

Could you just imagine the ruckus if it would have gone "up" 12 feet? ; ) Some would probably attribute it to the global impact of Viagra and Cialis manufacturing.

Maybe geologically Everest is starting to sink, from deep underneath the surface. It took millions of years to raise it up. Maybe it will be millions of years sinking down to sea level again.

We still have time! LOL! Keep at it until we get it right, I always say.

Apparently, though, the earth really did move for us.
