Kitten, I was sitting here reading this thread and shuddering. I started thinking now that the presstitutes smell blood over this hurricane mess, why not go after FreeRepublic, which was the primary cause of the fall of their great leader, Danny Boy. I read this and thought that maybe, just maybe, someone posted a response or two in an effort to make Freepers look bad. Comments like yours give me hope that some Freepers are awake.

I don't say write off the blacks. I say write off the idiots who seem to think they can only have the government give them things. That they are completely incapable of doing for themselves. Oh, BTW, that's black AND white bottom-feeders, or any other race for that matter.

Paul

Thank you for the kind words.

You are right, the malcontents have ulterior motives. You and others have observed that many on the left would like to diminish the impact of Free Republic (and conservatism). But with you, me, and countless others staying vigilant, they can't win.

I'm glad you can separate the victimology wing from the producers/contributors. But I don't think they're incapable of doing for themselves. By all appearances, they don't want the responsibility. If they took conscious control of their lives, they have no one to blame when things go wrong. Hence, the clinging to race-based invective to stir emotion and guilt while stifling honest examination of the issue. The closer the facts come to being exposed to a wide audience, the louder the baiting. Recall the stories/statements on Katrina versus Rita.

You'll notice that whenever a story comes out about blacks leaving the democrat party and/or drifting to the Republican party or supporting the President, stories like the one posted pop up in an attempt to stifle honest discussion or examination of the issue.

Thank you for being a part of the solution.
