Few people know that George Washington origally came from Texas. When he was young, he lived near Fort Davis. Up in Cherry Canyon, he cut down a 110-cherry tree. When his father asked about it, George replied, "I cannot tell a lie. I cut down the tree with my little hatchet." George's father replied, "Well then, Son, as you cannot tell a lie, we'll have to move from Texas." And that's why the Washingtons moved to Virginia.
