I know, Google is "wrong". Google only yields what the search bots find. In my post 425 I give a link to the source of the article. I have met the author (Bob Wheeler) personally.
I first read both of the articles like this that he wrote for Texas Independence Day on longhornfanzone.com, a now defunct Texas fans website.

You're not a pain. I'm glad to be corrected. I have been misinformed about this for a few years now. Wonder how it came to pass that Bum got credit for writing those essays?
Anyway, they are good reading and describe my feelings for Texas perfectly.
