I was born in Longview, near Kilgore, and remember going to El Chico every other Saturday. Texas has the best Mexican (Panchos, anyone?) food in the country.

Longview no longer has an El Chico but Panchos is still open. El Chico's burned down about three or four years ago and they decided not to rebuild. I work in Longview.
