Will Cubs fans cross over? Or are they too die hard.

I am born and raised on the North Side, so naturally my first allegiance is to the Cubs, and I've been to Wrigley Field many hundreds of times. But I have also followed the White Sox for over 40 years and have been to ball games on the South Side many dozens of times. The Sox are Chicago, too, so I'm cheering for them!

Ultimately I will always be a Chicago sports fan. If the Cubs vs the Sox WS ever happens in my lifetime I would root for the Cubs, just because of the many, many wonderful times and days spent at Wrigley Field in my young years. Thursday Ladies Day (free admission for women), my Mom would bring us. We then would flip seats and get passes for the next game all season long. 20c bus fare a day for many fun times and memories will always be dear to my heart. Ernie Banks, Randy Hundley, Fergie Jenkins, Don Kessinger, Glenn Beckert, Adolfo Phillips, Ron Santo, Billy Williams, Jim Hickman, Don Young...:-)
