SPEEDWAY, Ind. -- Police say someone used a wooden coat hanger to kill a guest in a Speedway motel.
The man, who police said is from Palatine, Ill., was found dead Monday at the Super 8 Motel near High School and Crawfordsville roads.
Police said the man had been severely beaten and had suffered wounds to his neck, back and chest.
A wooden coat hanger was found sticking out of the man's neck.
Police said the victim had checked into the motel Friday and was due to check out today.
No arrests have been made in the case.

I did a search of google images hoping to find one of those scenes from G2, but none to be found. (sigh) A great scene in G2 was when the camera shows him in the big apartment after he has killed with the coathanger, and is walking across the room behind the EMTs with the stretcher. He walks quietly, and you hear those deep tones reminscent of the opening of Jaws.
Errr...did they check to see if Kobe was in town? You never know...
Seems he was trying to hang himself in the closet when something went terribly wrong.
