Beating me by those nine seconds. But what is first place stolen, among friends? ;-) I have no animosity on losing by nine seconds. If I did, I would probably go on and on about how hurtful it was to miss first place by several seconds. I would probably keep bringing it up and describing the bitter agony of being nine seconds off the mark. I would most certainly find it impossible to congratulate someone who beat me by nine seconds, no matter how many times he/she had tried to get first place. But hey, since I'm not going on and on and on about it, since I don't keep bringing it up, it is infinitely clear how much it doesn't bother me, eh?
