I have seen those verses.

The problem is, what is filthy changes according to community standards. There is no "bad word list" in Scripture and no real way to determine if a word if filthy from Scripture. The only no-no is saying God's name in vain.

In the middle ages, the Church said it was cussing to say devil.

Do you honestly believe it to be a sin to say "what the devil?"

Well, of course, like most things in the Bible, it's subject to interpretation and the standards of the time. I just thought I would toss it out there. I find it interesting that the same people (not you) who tell me that they're just
words, insist on using them! Why is that word so prevelent? Why not use something else? I think there's a reason the F word is the cool word of choice.
