I'm beginning to think someone should tell Ann STFU.
Just a comment in general.
Bush is the employee of all Americans, including the people who voted for him, correct?
Now when an employee does a job, his performance is evaluated by his/her boss, correct?
And that evaluation includes praise for good decisions and criticism for bad decisions, correct?
Now some people here obviously disagree with some people's evaluation of Bush's recent decisions as "bad decisions".
But why are they not then arguing about _how_ that evaluation is incorrect, instead of just saying that the people doing this criticism are "disloyal" and "trying to tear down one of our own"?

I think that some of us have become indoctrinated by listing to way to much of the MSM. The MSM in my opinion really know very little. The most they have is their talking points for the day.
He couldn't find a woman?
LOL!
Very GOOD! Those were VERY GOOD comebacks!
Go ahead and write your name on the chalkboard!
"Another thread says Dow is up 110 and Nasdaq up 20...second-hand."
Well, come to think of it, if Bernanke is an inflation hawk and a printing press for money, embodied in the same person by turns, this represents continuity, and the market dislikes uncertainty. So, that makes sense.
No, we are going to tell people they have to move out of the coastal states and find jobs, homes elsewhere (at their own expense). Then we are going to close down the borders with military forces year end and year out.
We will close down the hotels, strip their land from them so that they will not try and obtain government funds from us during storms.
And, we will pay for that military force with only the tax dollars of those living in border states.
We will make the churches take in all displaced people paid for by the church members to find them lodging, food, clothes, and nursing care.
And, we will bring home all Iraqi forces and give the area to Al Qaeda for a state. Surely they will never hit us here because they would be so happy just to have the middle east.
Then we will find alternate sources of fuel and give up on oil as we do not wish to harm our pristine area in Anwar.
This alternate fuel will be found purely at the total expense of the former oil companies to be given free to all those wishing transportation.
THEN - the true conservatives will be happy.
She's entertaining and that is her job, but she's dating a liberal now and before that I believe she was dating a Muslim when she made her "Convert them all to Christianity" quote, so I agree with you on some level.
I think it is about her career above all.
Most in her line of work are the same way though.
BTW he was the head of Princeton Economic dept.
Market it up nicely.
I didn't see a "/s" at the end...............

They act just like the RINO's - always cut and run when the going is tough.
I have one of his econ textbooks...

How about Joe Paterno?
I don't care if Ann is the devil, you aren't allowed to mess with her pictures. Never.
Jackson said that because he hated the influence of the Bank of the United States. When he became president, he promptly killed the bank, then directed federal deposits to go into his chosen "pet banks".
When they failed, during the collapse of land speculation from that and his hard money Species Act, it led to the Panic of 1837 and a hard long depression. But what did he care, Martin Van Buren, his Veep and successor, paid the price for that one.
My point being that we have had several times in our history when we have had high debt levels. We are at war, and don't want to seem "unfeeling" by "cutting" programs. In the end, Congress votes it's legislation...not the president. And we have had several discussions about the leadership in the US Congress...
From what I have heard he is a good replacement.
