I am not a personality cultist.

I know President Bush will not do everything I want because he, too, has his own beliefs and he is the one with the power to initiate them.

But, I know full well, that we are blessed to have had this man in office at this time in history. And, I know full well, that he is far better than a McCain, or a Gore.

I also realize that Washington is full of back stabbers who care more about their personal buyouts than they care about the President's agenda. So, therefore, a president has to consider the effect of his backstabbing party representatives.

I fully trust my country in this man's hands over any others out there - even if I disagree with some of his actions. Afterall - I am not naive enough to expect perfection or Superman.

My answer to you - go find your Superman and get him elected. I will criticize you mercilessly if you do not find him and elect him.

Also, I expect him to fit my view of the perfect Superman too - so, if not, I will hound him into the ground and do all in my power to side with the enemies to take him down.

I have to. How else can I appear "cool" and "ultra-conservative" to my online compatriots. Support is so ........ mundane, you know.

"Afterall - I am not naive enough to expect perfection or Superman."

I, apparently, am naive enough to expect George W. Bush to be politically conservative, not just a redux of George H. W. Bush. He's looking more and more like his father's son every day.

"We just have to toughen up our hearts to be able to step over those weak, hurt, and totally unable to do anything about it. "

You might want to get that bleeding heart looked at. As much as you would like to paint "true conversatives" as "able to step over those weak, hurt, and totally unable to do anything about it." you'll find that the vast majority chose to volunteer time, donate food, donate money through charity organizations and the church. We don't need the federal government to do that. Of course I would expect a rational person to come to that line of thinking, i see others need help getting to that conclusion.
