Amazing, disgusting, and scary.
Having been brought up on trumped-up charges, and having been slammed in grading on political basis, I feel for this student. Anyone not at the university who doubts the severity or veracity of such stories, I encourage to investigate.
I wouldn't seek support from a rights group. I would find another school. And given that this school is a state university, I would find a school in another state.
I'm in a cultural diversity class right now, education department. Humorless instructor.
Free speech is obviously dead on that campus.
Liberal intellectuals, stifling the exchange of ideas and promoting only the sacred truths of cultural marxism. Since they already know all the answers, there is no reason to allow the expression of any opposing ideas.

What irony! We are fighting to save our freedoms at every level and all over the world. But with this clever stroke of genius, the statists are taking over the country. Once "free speech" requires thought retraining, we are no different than any Communist country on earth.
Oh brother. I can't even stand the once-a-year mandated classes I have to take at my job. It is so subjective.
How you can sit in a diversity class for an entire semester is beyond me.
Here is a question for you (I think I remember it correctly): A "wheelchair bound" person was turned down for promotion within the company. The position that he applied for required extensive travel.
Was this discrimination? (this is all the information that was given)

Remember in college, you buy the books. it's his book! He should be able to write what he wants. Unlike myself, who, in the 8th grade, put the names of the teacher and her "teachers Pet" next to the definition and picture of a Jackass in a dictionary, which belonged to the school.

Read anything from Edward O. Wilson, recently featured in the Smithsonian magazine. Study it well. Plop it in their laps. It also explains the differences between herding dogs, retrievers, pointers and hounds. It pretty well covers the entire animal kingdom. Does anyone believe if someone took a fire ant queen from the south and placed it on the beach in New Jersey during the summer that the behavior of the resulting ant colony would be any different than in Florida?
It could also be used to explain a great deal of the problems in Africa, the Middle East and other places in the world. Be careful, or you could be branded a racist.

Pacific Justice Institute is a great organization for students or teachers dealing with discrimination against Conservatism or their Judeo-Christian religion....
