G Nite,
Well, I'm still a bit mystified by your rhetoric, but I appreciate the less confrontive attitude.
I saw a documentary on TV recently about a couple of people whose nervous systems did not function properly and they could not feel pain. It was tragic, the damage that they did to themselves. Look at what happens to lepers, too. Pain is a blessing in disguise.
Hmmm. So God gave us pain so we wouldn't eat our fingers off.
Well, yeah. I'll buy that. The older lady was a double amputee (both legs) and several fingers. Apparently she had broken bones in her leg and didn't know it and she kept using them till they were beyond repair. The little girl had blinded herself in one eye so far and she had to be watched every minute. Both had many broken teeth.
