yeah and when one of our cities gets pasted they'll be all over the other side of the issue - why didn't we take care of this in earnest when we had the chance. F em, ignore em, don't subscribe to em and watch em lay off more and more people.
The San Francisco Chronicle, which had already given up any lingering pretensions it may have had of being a real newspaper even before the latest round of layoffs, filled its front page with a photograph of protesters celebrating the 2000 dead, and a bunch of pretty much irrelevant charts and graphs showing the various branches of service and which branches the dead came from -- not as any kind of analytical tool, just to take up space which in a real newspaper would contain actual news.
"F em, ignore em, don't subscribe to em and watch em lay off more and more people."
Yep thats my attitude also. I wouldnt give a dime of my money to any of these papers. The NY Times stock is going down faster than a cinder block in a lake! Let them keep up the 'good work'.. They are digging their own graves and putting themselves on the unemployment line!
