Tell me I’m dreaming …

THEY HAVE MICHAEL BROWN SHILLING FOR MIERS!!!!

Is he taking over for Leo?

I’ve been working too hard … got to get some sleep … I’m hallucinating.

From what I know Michael Brown is about as qualified to be on the Supreme Court as Miers, I thought he was a lawyer too. (And he at least has some disaster experience, which Miers is clearly lacking).

This is so sad. I mean, it really is a case of the emperor not having any clothes. It’s a shame this had to happen. She should have withdrawn within a the first few days.

You know, disastrous, unqualified Bush cronies gotta stick together through thick and thin, don’t you think? Where would the world be if they didn’t?

The Brownie shilling proves one thing: the Bush administration is either purposefully trying to scuttle this nomination or else they really don’t have two brain cells to rub together. If the latter case, I think Bush should declare himself a Democrat. It would make great TV for weeks watching the Dems’ reaction and if he announces enough liberal policies, it may just do for the Dems what he’s been doing for us the last three and a half weeks.

As John McEnroe said:

“You CANNOT be serious”!

Brownie? this is getting absurd.

Imagine, from John Roberts, best SC litigator of his generation to Brownie flaking for Miers.

How truly sad.

That Slate article lays waste to the whole bar assocciation and head-of-law-firm thing.

Shorn of the merits of these non-qualifications, Miers is even more nakely a Texas crony.

Whoops, she's broken another glass ceiling there. She's a Good Ol' Boy.

Isn't that just super?
