Someone got the bright idea (probably someone at the UN) that letting in hordes of Third World immigrants would help the West get thought its upcoming retirement crisis. The hope was that somehow these people would come in and, within a generation, power the economic growth necessary to finance the retiring Baby Boomers. Didn't quite work out that way did it? If anything, these people are simultaneously a drain on the treasury and a ticking time bomb. Their failure to assimilate means that future generations will have to solve this problem though either civil war or letting the Other take power (effectively, becoming a subservient minority in their own country). Given the way the Left has defanged and demoralized the West, I think the latter is the more realistic outcome. Yet another liberal plan for Utopia gone awry--who would have thunk it?

Actually the bright idea at the UN is to redistribute everybody so that we are all, races and religions, mixed together. They think by doing this it will be easier for world rule...no strong groups to fight it off.

Well stated. Our ancestors could never have dreamed that we wouldn't be defeated by a foreign foe but would instead commit suicide. The immigration issue is demoralizing and it's frightening to see the West dying before our very eyes while our elected officials fiddle; nevertheless, I hope that "the great unwashed masses" will awaken and take the matter into their own hands before it's too late.
