That still leaves the arch-conspirator, the Cataline of the Republican party, the Quisling of the era John McCain.
As long as he is holding back, there are others in the gang of traitors who will attempt to foil the administration on this one.
McCain will get my vote for President when Hell freezes over. If he runs against Hillery, I will vote for an independent conservative.
McCain has been a thorn in the side of the administration since Bush got elected, always pressuring towards the left.

I too can never vote for McCain.
I will however put all my efforts into stopping him in the primaries.
I still can not throw away my vote on a third party....the send a message crowd only sends it to themselves!

He's also one of the Keating Five. He sure has managed to paper over that debacle. If he was a true conservative he would be introduced in every MSM segment as "the disgraced political operative indicted as a co-conspirator in the Keating scandal" or similar unbiased MSM phraseology.
