I think Solution #3 is already underway. There are already some Muslim neighborhoods where even the police refuse to go, and there are virtually no city services there because other city employees are too afraid to enter them. I think you're right on the likelihood of the French simply expanding and making official the establishment of a separate "Muslim zone."
Sadly, I think that even if they were inclined to respond as in your Solution #2, there'd be so much international (read EU and Muslim countries) pressure on them that they wouldn't be able to do it effectively. I've already seen whining in the US press, which is barely covering the incidents, to the effect that it is all the fault of the French for not being nicer to their "immigrant" population.
Some immigrants. Invading army would be more like it, and to make matters worse, the invading army is being funded almost entirely, from cradle to the grave, by the French taxpayer.

Me too. I wish it wasn't Islamo-Fascists doing it, because they threaten more than just France. But I must admit at some satisfaction that the country that has fostered so much terror on the African continent (read up on French complicity in the Rwandan holocaust) is finally having those chickens coming home to roost. And yet, they have the audacity to lecture us on racism. They wrote the book on it.
"Groups of Youths" and "Mobile Groups" . . . . LMAO. Don't mention the fact that they're virtually all MUSLIMS, lest they attack your reporting facility!
I think we're just happy to finally see the end of hypocritical French posturing on this particular issue.
In a 12-paragraph AP story that was published in this morning's Sacramento Bee, any reference to Muslim/Arab/Ramadan/etc. does not appear until the 10th paragraph. I truly do not understand this.
Does France still have a prison on French Guiana ?

Remeber Bosnia? That appears to be inevitable for parts of Europe, within 10 yrs i would think. Theyll have to carve a couple Albanias out of Europe,especially France, sooner or later.
Thankfully Eastern European countries didn't absorb Muslims like their western counterparts did. Poland may end up being the last bastion of Western civilization in Europe.
I was there in 94 and even then it was overtaking NYC in grafitti. Lot's of great architechture and museums(the Musee D'Orsay the best with it's Van Gogh's) but the people were rude.
