I realize that NJ is a different world than the midwest, but could you guys in NJ not find a better GOP candidate than Forrester, who has flip-flopped on social issues?
Moreover, WHAT is up with the hairpiece he's wearing? Please tell me
that is not his real hair!

We had a GREAT candidate--Bret Schundler. Forrester outspent him 3 to 1 and slimed him late in the campaign .
The only thing that reconciles me to voting for Forrester is listening to Corzine's plans for the state.

Please tell me that is not his real hair! I've looked at some pictures up close, and on windblown days too, and I think its real. I know, that particular picture looks pretty goofy with the white sidewalls and all....

We absolutely can find better candidates. But they won't make the debates unless they are essentially millionaires.
The powers that be keep their politicking here by their rules. Only those with LOTS and LOTS of money get to play in their game. AND if you have money in NJ....you are in someone's pocket.
Forrester is the only one that has a chance of beating Corzine. It is a baby step. The only one we have.
