Bill Clinton: Bush Tax Cuts 'Immoral', 'Unethical'
Ex-president Bill Clinton is blasting President Bush's economic policies as "immoral" and "unethical," saying he blames administration tax cuts for increasing hostility towards the U.S. around the world.
"I hear all this talk about family values and all this stuff," Clinton told an audience at the University of Minnesota on Saturday, before explaining how an old friend had been hurt by cuts in subsidies for Americans in need while the wealthy got tax cuts.
"I resent it," Clinton said, his voice rising in anger. "I think it's immoral, I think it's unethical."
"Nobody ever explains what the meaning of those tax cuts are," he told the crowd. "So we're going to give them their tax cuts first and then go ask the Chinese to loan us money to help save the lives of the young men and women we send into combat."
The Minnesota crowd applauded as the ex-president continued to paint the White House as fiscally irresponsible in a way that shortchanges other countries.

Ex-Pres Clinton (or his lovely wife) and others of their ilk could write a personal check for any amount to the U.S. Treasury - Washington, DC. That could assuage their guilt for paying too little in taxes. It's a simple soulution, no?

When Bill Clinton ran for president in 1992, he promised a middle class tax cut. Of course he wasn't serious. He saw what happened to Walter Mondale in 1984, who was at least honest enough to confess that he'd raise taxes.
Under Clinton, the middle class was treated to the biggest tax hike in US history.
Clinton says we should raise taxes to pay for the war. I say he shouldn't have raised taxes and cut the military to the bone, as he did.

I "goggled" Bill Clinton's name and there were no words listed like "ethical", or "moral". Who the hell does that pervert think he is kidding? Just because he is a former Presivert gives him no right to mouth off about another man in the White House. Clinton should be happy that Bush has brought back honor and decency to the Office of the President, something he tried to destroy! STFU Clinton!!
I am still waiting for that middle class tax cut Clinton promised! I am sure we will get it under a Hillary regime........

The taxes come from the people. I guess Bill thinks it's unethical for people to keep what they earned.

listen to clintin talking about immoral and unethical. He was the most immoral and unethical president this country ever had. He is beyond the shadow of a doubt the worst president in the history of the United States BAR NONE!
MORAL and ethical in the same sentence with clintin is an oxymoron.
The louder the Clintons speak, the more ammunition they serve up...I hope republicans use the twin towers, and all the other footage of Americans dying, jumping from 100 floors up, etc and remind us all of what DOING NOTHING accomplishes...1993 was a warning and CLINTON DID NOTHING to stop Bin Laden.
