Bill Clinton: Bush Tax Cuts 'Immoral', 'Unethical'

Ex-president Bill Clinton is blasting President Bush's economic policies as "immoral" and "unethical," saying he blames administration tax cuts for increasing hostility towards the U.S. around the world.

"I hear all this talk about family values and all this stuff," Clinton told an audience at the University of Minnesota on Saturday, before explaining how an old friend had been hurt by cuts in subsidies for Americans in need while the wealthy got tax cuts.

"I resent it," Clinton said, his voice rising in anger. "I think it's immoral, I think it's unethical."

"Nobody ever explains what the meaning of those tax cuts are," he told the crowd. "So we're going to give them their tax cuts first and then go ask the Chinese to loan us money to help save the lives of the young men and women we send into combat."

The Minnesota crowd applauded as the ex-president continued to paint the White House as fiscally irresponsible in a way that shortchanges other countries.

They complain about them, but have any liberals ever given their tax cuts back to the government?

Anyone who thinks they aren't paying enough in taxes and has the money to spare is free to make tax deductible charitable donations. That way, you can choose where and how your money is spent. It's not complicated.

Well, let's face it... If anyone knows things of an immoral, or unethical nature, it would be Bill Clinton. We've got an expert on the subjects. To bad he's just projecting. Besides, can we really trust anyone who's admitted to purjury? Well, anyone besides Dan Rather, who thinks Clinton's pretty honest.

For an impeached treasonous rapist to say these things is preposterous. Once again Comrade Klinto proves that he knows nothing about morals or ethics!

"This is all part of the Dems plan to inject morals into the budget process. I don't think anybody is going to buy it"

Yep...and to expand on that, this is actually part of their strategy to win back the "faith" based voters that they've lost over the years. The Dems have actually been seeking the advice of some preists on how to reconnect with God-fearing Americans. They think they can appeal to people of faith by making taxes and forced "charity" a religious issue. I actually heard this the other night on O'Reilly when one of their "advisors" insisted that higher taxes was the right thing to do for people of faith.

Really silly!!

"I resent it," Clinton said, his voice rising in anger. "I think it's immoral, I think it's unethical."

He resents it? Well, we'd better rush to make it suit his highness. LOL.

Wow, Slick Willy is going to instruct us on morals and ethics? Bwahahaha.

LOL! A lecture on morality and ethics from a liar has as much credibility as a lecture by a prostitute on chastity to the Pope. Bill Clinton is ah, in a class all by himself.

Exactly. If Bubba really feels its unjustified he can give back his tax cut and have it spent for whatever he deems proper. In the meantime, he ought to lay off making honest citizens feel guilty for keeping more of what they earned.
