Do you want a full display case? Or one of the wooden triangular cases? I called the Post and they want to display the full flag. Please know that I posted the story because it touched me, not to solicit donations.

I understand that. It touched me, as well.
There is still a lot of healing needed from that time.

Looks like you'll have to form a committee to resolve the differences in opinion

This is the first set of the many pictures I took at today's Veteran's Day Parade. There are more in a bit. Click the pics to see larger images in a new browser window!
I came to the parade a bit late and missed who this group was...but they certainly have the right idea. They know who's responsible for ensuring the freedoms we enjoy.
The Buena High School Fighting Colt (JROTC) Battalion stands formation at Veteran's Memorial Park, having finished their portion of the march up Fry Blvd.
The Apache Middle School Band regales us with martial music. Could the sky be any bluer?
Apache Middle School Band Director Mrs. Lori Erhallt and her son Ricky. My youngest got his start in band under her leadership.
The Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts honor our vets. This is end of their contingent. Check out the Scoutmaster in shorts! Remember, it's the middle of November! The Boy Scouts are followed by the Girl Scouts...a photo set that I'll post after I take lunch to Nana.

Just got back from the parade and ceremony that followed.
Hijinx saw you but I was tied up with a gentleman and couldn't holler out. You were working your way past the baseball back stop at the ceremony headed towards the assembled troops . Great Photos!
Did manage to get three more to add to the collection
Troops assembled and standing at the ready
Artillery used for the 21 Gun Salute
Two lovingly restored WWII vehicles that were in the Parade
